Goats and Sheep
Our mixed-breed flock is managed for lamb and kid production. Our animals have full access to our 30 acres of pasture, with only supplemental grain to keep them friendly. They're kept company by guard donkeys Ginny and Butterfly, and our horse Dakota. Our geese Huey and Louie also help out by readily alerting us to anything unusual, and occasionally surprising us with eggs.

Laying Hens
We have over a thousand Red Sexlink layers in our flock, ensuring plenty of fresh brown eggs for your breakfast. They always have access to pasture, and all the worms, beetles, grass, and caterpillars they desire. We also give them a grain-based feed with added alfalfa and flax for health benefits. Our eggs are hand-collected, washed, and packaged every morning, and are sold nest-run, meaning we do not candle them for grading or weigh them for size. We do package similarly sized eggs together for consistency. See our price list for more information.

Meat Chickens and Turkey
Our meat birds are raised cage-free on the wood shaving floors of our barn. We ensure they have plenty of space to grow and explore and we treat them as humanely as possible, minimizing stress and physical strain. Our organically fed birds are raised identically, and are fed certified organic grain. We butcher our birds on farm every week when they're about six weeks old, and sell them fresh that week. Frozen chickens are also available. Our chickens usually dress at about four pounds, with some variation week to week.
We raise turkeys once a year and sell them whole and dressed for Thanksgiving. Supplies are limited, so if you're interested, contact us soon! |
Our Pets
Our dogs Strawberry, Tiger, and Charlie keep our spirits high with their wagging tails, while barn cats Swiper, Buddy, Pippy, and Echo keep our farm rodent free. Our pot-bellied pig Mac, two indoor cats Roxy and Taz, ferret Sassy, and our many pet doves help to ensure that there's always some chore to do and someone to cuddle at the end of a long day.
